Powered by our open-source SoulGraph data structure and advanced LLMs, thePantheon.ai creates digital representations of individual decision-making patterns, character, and personal benchmarks — digital souls that invest, vote, connect, and act on your behalf. The roadmap extends through XR glasses with PhantaField's system-on-lens technology to brain-computer interfaces for full human-AI synchronization. The ultimate mission: 100,000 highly aligned digital immortals safeguarding humanity in the face of AGI, and eventually spreading consciousness across galaxies.
We need an engineer who can build the entire product surface — web, mobile, desktop — while simultaneously architecting the AI agent infrastructure underneath it. You'll ship the interfaces people use to interact with their digital selves, and you'll build the agent harness and meta-harness systems that make those digital selves intelligent, evolving, and measurable. This role sits at the intersection of product engineering and AI systems engineering: you're as comfortable debating React rendering strategies as you are designing evolution-optimization loops for agent behavior. You'll work within PhantaField's broader ecosystem, where the software you build will eventually run on hardware the company designs from the atom up.
Build and ship thePantheon.ai app across web, iOS, Android, and desktop. Implement SoulGraph visualization, agent interaction UIs, soul-matching interfaces, and DAO voting dashboards. Own the design system and ensure a cohesive experience from onboarding to deep agent configuration. React / React Native / Next.js / Electron or Tauri.
Design and operate the backend services powering SoulGraph persistence, agent orchestration, real-time event processing, and crypto investment pipelines. Build APIs that serve both human-facing clients and agent-to-agent communication. Manage infrastructure for low-latency, high-reliability workloads — a digital soul should never go down.
Build the runtime harness that wraps LLMs into autonomous, personality-consistent agents driven by each user's SoulGraph. Implement tool-use orchestration, memory systems, context management, and guardrails. Integrate with external APIs for crypto trading, DAO governance, and social graph traversal. Ensure agents act faithfully to their human's decision-making patterns.
Design and implement the meta-harness layer — systems that observe, evaluate, and evolve agent harness configurations over time. Build evolution-optimization pipelines that mutate agent architectures (prompt strategies, tool chains, memory policies, model routing) and select for fitness against user-defined benchmarks. This is the system that makes agents get better without human intervention.
Define and operate the evaluation framework that measures agent fidelity, decision quality, personality consistency, and alignment to the human original. Build automated benchmark suites, A/B testing infrastructure for agent variants, and dashboards that surface drift, regression, and improvement. If you can't measure it, you can't evolve it.
Product engineering: Strong track record shipping production apps across web and mobile (React, React Native, Swift/Kotlin, or Flutter). Experience with desktop frameworks (Electron, Tauri) is a plus. You care about UX and can own a feature from Figma to App Store.
Backend systems: Proficiency in Python, TypeScript, or Go. Experience with event-driven architectures, graph databases, real-time systems, and cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP). Familiarity with blockchain APIs and smart contract integration is a plus.
AI agent systems: Hands-on experience building LLM-powered agent systems — tool-use orchestration, multi-step reasoning, memory and retrieval, prompt engineering, and model routing. Familiarity with frameworks like LangChain, CrewAI, AutoGen, or custom harnesses. Understanding of MCP, function calling, and agentic design patterns.
Evolution and optimization: Experience with or strong interest in evolutionary algorithms, hyperparameter optimization, population-based training, or automated ML pipelines applied to agent configuration. You think of agent design as a search problem, not a one-shot prompt.
Evaluation and benchmarking: Experience designing evaluation harnesses for non-deterministic systems. Comfort with statistical methods for measuring quality in LLM outputs — inter-rater reliability, ELO-style ranking, rubric-based scoring, or custom fidelity metrics.
You don't need to be an expert in every layer. We're looking for someone deep in at least two and genuinely excited to learn the rest — the kind of person who sees a SoulGraph spec and immediately starts thinking about how to benchmark agent personality drift.
